Please read my reviews that have dated back years.... and I still stand behind them 100% Here is my latest addition to complete the trilogy. I still am weary of buying ANYTHING from them and rarely will gamble much more that #10 on the affiliate's description and pictures. Sad people cant be more honest . Well I did purchase from 2 separate affiliates with pick up on the same day. I paid on line so I could stop in...pick up....and leave quick and easy.
The first pick up was in maple grove where I was met with "What auction did you bid on ...because I am not going through 150 invoices to find yours." Well apparently, they had 2 pickups scheduled for that day....but the tone was so rude it made an immediate impression and foreshadowed my kbid experience for the day.
Well since I joined kbid early I am usually on top of the stack of invoices so it was found easy enough and I was directed to a separate building to "stand in line with the others." Sure enough... I walked into this small cramped area and stood with three other people.
NONE of the lots were in ANY FORM OF ORDER...scattered randomly in what looked like a house in an episode of hoarders. Needless to say it took a LONG TIME to find ANYTHING... so I ended up waiting over 1/2 hour for these clowns to find the lots. At some point I overheard that the reason it was slow was that the SINGLE employee had showed up late. Still doesn't explain their lack of organization. By the time I left...there were 7 people who came in after me.... what a joke. Even the surrounding businesses were pissed as people were waiting so long... it was affecting parking for their business.
So then I headed to isanti to pick up who obviously studied under the maple grove location. The man again came off as rude,,,,and again I ended up waiting over 1/2 hour because they were so unorganized.
Now the main office of Kbid could care less and just state my issue is with the individual affiliate. It is their go to answer for every problem you might bring to them. I would think they may want to HOLD THE AFFILIATES TO A STANDARD of customer service. If KBID ACTUALLY CARED ABOUT CUSTOMERS they would address the samr issues its customers bring to them... BUT THEY WONT. If they did maybe they could get back to hosting 7-8 pages of auctions instead of what they have now.
My final comment is this. IF THE AFFILIATE IS THAT UNORGANIZED....there is NO WAY IN HELL they are paying the government the sales taxes they collect. That email to them will follow this review. I guess showing that they are indeeed crooks will only be the way to get their attention
In summary, I would not recommend K-Bid to a friend.
