Manager is a complete asshole.

Reviewer: Never Again from Stillwater, MN

I contacted the manager of K-bid.com in regards to fraudulent sales from one of the auctions I found from their site. I simply was trying to make K-bid aware of the issues I experienced with one of the auctions I found on their site and hopefully they wouldn't continue to post them. The manager was apparently pissed off that I called him and didn't even let me finish explaining to him the situation. The guy was a complete asshole and hung up the phone on me. Not sure what his deal is, but I will never use his site again.

In summary, I would not recommend K-Bid to a friend.

Need New Leadership

This company just cant get out of its own way in poor customer service. From charging astronomical "selling fee's" --to charging people a flat $20 when they dare use their debit or credit card on something that costs less than $20 (which is more than likely against the law!) .....to outrageous "pick up times"....to flat out rude people at their home office--Its no wonder their business is declining! This was the THIRD time I have shown up for either a PREVIEW or a PICK UP and found KBID NO WHERE IN SIGHT. When you call them its nothing but excuses....yet if you are late for pick up I NOW SEE they want to charge you fees (after berating you on the phone.)

In summary, I would not recommend K-Bid to a friend.

MN auto auction

Reviewer: Dont Use Mn Auto Auction from Minnesota

I won a SUV on Kbid from the same affiliate MN auto auction in Lowry. I was told the SUV didn't have any check engine lights on and it was freshly detailed. when I showed up honoring my part of the deal the owner was across the street at the legion drunk. the SUV was filthy. it had not even been vacuumed nor even wiped down. I drove about 10 miles away and the service light came on as if they cleared it. not to mention the thing stunk like they bought the cheapest cologne you could buy and poured it into the vehicle. I had to drive 2 hours home with the windows down in the winter because to stink was so strong. I WOULDNT EVER CONSIDER DOING BUSSINESS WITH MN AUTO AUCTION!!!!!!!

In summary, I would not recommend K-Bid to a friend.

Greed drives K-bid

I have bought thousands of items from K-bid...driven all over the state getting good deals...as well as lessons in trusting affiliates and how they describe their products. Some affiliates were flat out crooks--misrepresenting items, charging you EXTRA because your bill was under $20...and some that had no customer service skills at all. (IE---showing up an hour late for THEIR OWN REMOVAL TIME---THEN REPORTING ME ON A $2 ITEM THAT I DIDNT PAY FOR BECAUSE I HAD TO GO TO WORK AND COULDNT WAIT!) Most affiliates were nice...polite...and kind. When it first started there was a hardworking one legged guy in Ramsey who did a very good job. Lee Ann does a nice job as does K and C auctions. I m sure I know others- but these stick out most. I have also SOLD several auctions and MADE K-Bid THOUSANDS of dollars in revenue. I am well versed in live and online auctions.

I must say I have backed way off from all online interactions as the affiliates are just not honest towards their customers--and treat them with any value. Auction pick up times that favor the affiliate but no one else--unless you are unemployed or retired (neither of which I... (Read the full review)

Kbid headquarters is less than freindly

Reviewer: Kbid Bad from Wisconsin

I have attached the response from the Kbid president, I contacted the headquarters asking for assistance in obtaining a title from a Kbid affiliate who would not respond. THIS IS ONLY A PORTION OF CONVERSATION. Kbid headquarters has bad reviews from BBB

I bought a van at a Kbid auction in Lowry Mn a couple of weeks back. I live in Wisconsin and NEED THE TITLE.
I called the Kbid dealer and left a message, by chance on Thursday he is open from 1-7 I believe. I did not receive a response so this morning I called your office, the lady I spoke with kept interrupting me and would even let me get out a full sentence. I was trying to ask her to contact the Kbid seller and get my title sent to me, she kept saying they are separate affiliates you have to contact them, she kept talking over me.

I called the Kbid site in North Branch Mn where I had won a couple items Thursday night with Saturday pickup and spoke with the owner there and explained I would not pay for or pickup the items until the main office had someone contact me.

My response is... (Read the full review)

Wish I could give them less than 1 star

Reviewer: Sabrina from Fargo, ND

I bid on several different items located at the k-bid in my town. When I hit the 'back' button, the site returned me to a page with other listings. I bid on a $7 item. As soon I had made the bid, I realized that the item was located 300 miles away from where I live. I contacted them to see if they would take back my bid. They wouldn't. I was told that all bids are final and if I didn't drive the 300 miles to pick up the $7 item I would have to pay a 20% fee plus a $25 reinstatement fee to use their services ever again.

This was a simple error and I was treated like a criminal. This is word for word what they emailed me after I told them it was a mistake and I tried to correct it:

"I had already assumed that you would blame everybody except for yourself for your error and knowing that people who skip out on their obligations have no issues with that sort of behavior, I had already deleted your bids."

Wow.

In summary, I would not recommend K-Bid to a friend.
